About

The center of my work is always the human dimension - man.
I try to capture the exterior that gives expression
to its interior.
This pursuit has always fascinated me.In my work there is a kind of nostalgia and longing for an innocent and imaginary world that no longer exists in today's information-filled reality, and the choice of monochrome colors tries to convey this feeling
of "the world of yesterday."

The longing for this world is expressed in my love for old movies, from which I draw much of my inspiration in recent years. My works are trying to tell a story: to capture a certain moment, as if it is a scene from a movie that has paused. This allows the viewer to run the scene in his imagination, while the peaceful and lyrical compositions are disturbed by animals symbolizing the thoughts and wonders which I constantly carry with me as a woman and as a creative artist, and thus introduces an unexpected factor to my artwork, as well as in life itself.

The ceramic material is fascinating: it contains innumerable options, and especially, allows me to combine my two great loves - painting and sculpturing.

The most exciting moment in my work is the beginning, when the ideas in my head transform into the clay blocks and become vivid and alive. After creating the initial model, my work on details and subtleties begins, and so does the long pursuit for perfection.

I work in a traditional technique of building coils and slabs, painting in underglaze and brushes.
